Our 2025 season is now well underway – we have some great news to report on the Club captaincy and Committee moving forward.
We have always been hopeful that some of our newer members would become more active in the running and organisation of TMGC. Following our AGM last month we are delighted to report that alot of progress has been made.
Our new vice Captain is Neil Armstrong and he will replace Greg at the end of the 2025 season and will look to appoint a new vice Captain at next years AGM. Fred Stace is now our ORC and Course Liaison rep – Fred is already doing a fantastic job on and around the course and has established a very healthy relationship with the ORC groundsman/greenkeeper Kevin. Paul Wake continues to help Fred as necessary.
New Committee members have also stepped forward – welcome Andy Thomas, Chris Davis, Jack Prater and Baanji Muteto and will join Fred (ORC/Course Liaison) Greg (Captain), Bryan (HC sec), Mike (website/trophies), Gary (secretary) and Sue (ladies rep) on the 2025/26 Committee.
Greg Saunders, Bryan Holden, Mike England, Gary Beecham and Paul Wake as long standing members and organisers will continue to support our new encumbents right through to the 2026 season and beyond as necessary.
