Gregs tenure as Club Captain came to an end in April 2023 – we had nobody who was prepared to succeed Greg so he kindly offered to continue for one more year. We will though be looking to our members to become more active in TMGC – we are a volunteer run club and there is a lot to do during the year, the Club does not run itself. We will be looking for volunteers to take up both the Captain and Vice Captain positions from April 2024. In the meantime Greg will as usual be ably assisted by both the Committee and others as necessary.
If any member is interested in becoming either Club Captain or Vice Captain or simply getting more involved then please do contact the Committee at [email protected] or come and have a chat at one of our monthly competitions. It would be great to see a some of our newer members and regular competition golfers get more actively involved in the running of Club matches and competitions – anybody interested will get the full support and guidance from existing post holders. Please do come and have a go in 2024.
