In honour of the late, great Severiano Ballesteros. A ‘drawn’ pairs competiton (you don’t know who your partner is until drawn) with the highest combined stableford score taking the prize. 13 players turned up (2 more than May) so 6 pairs taking part. Welcome to Dave Holding who came along and playing a round to finalise his handicap – hope to see Dave at future events.
Well, a massive 21 points separated 6th and 1st positions and our eventual winners won by an impressive 8 points.

We had, I think, a first today – 2 nearest the pins won by the same player, well done to our our grounds liaison officer Scott Drummie – impressive. Oh and our captain Greg sent me this competition report and clearly wants you all to know that he won £10 on the football card 🙂
